A Community Library Field Trip: Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival In-Person

Registration opens July 7 at 7:00 a.m.

Join The Community Library and Wood River Museum of History + Culture for a group field trip to the Fort Hall's Shoshone Bannock 60th Annual Indian Festival!

The Tribal Room at the Wood River Museum of History + Culture provides an introduction to Shoshone-Bannock history and culture in Central Idaho. Bailey Dann and Nolan Brown, of the Language and Culture Preservation Office at Fort Hall, will be our guides as we explore arts and crafts, traditional dancing, relay races, and more. This all-day field trip will depart from the Wood River Museum of History + Culture, across from the Library, at 7:00 a.m. The driving time is about 2.5 hours.
