SUMMARY:A Community Library Field Trip: Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival
DESCRIPTION:Join The Community Library and Wood River Museum of History   
 Culture for a group field trip to the Fort Hall's Shoshone Bannock 60th 
 Annual Indian Festival! \n\nThe Tribal Room at the Wood River Museum of 
 History   Culture provides an introduction to Shoshone-Bannock history and 
 culture in Central Idaho. This field trip promises a dynamic experience to 
 learn more about that history and culture by visiting the Fort Hall 
 Reservation during the annual Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival. Bailey Dann 
 and Nolan Brown\, of the Language and Culture Preservation Office at Fort 
 Hall\, will be our guides as we explore arts and crafts\, traditional 
 dancing\, relay races\, and more. This all-day field trip will depart from 
 the Wood River Museum of History   Culture\, across from the Library\, at 
 8:15 a.m. The driving time is about 3 hours. \n\nSchedule: \n\n8:15am    
 Departure from Ketchum\n11:15    Arrival to Fort Hall \n           Meet up 
 with Bailey Dann and Nolan Brown\n12pm  Indian Relays (visit food & craft 
 booths)\n1:30    Grand Entry and dancing (visit food & craft booths)\n3:30  
   Visit art show\n4:00    Departure from Fort Hall\n7:00   Arrival to 
 Ketchum\n\nBring: \nHat\, sun shirt\, umbrella for sun if 
 desired\nSunscreen\nInsulated large water bottle\nPortable lawn chair 
 (you'll use it at the Grand Entry festival grounds and Indian Relays and 
 Dancing)\n$ for shopping and eating!\n\nWe are asking for a suggested 
 donation of $10 per person to help defray costs for the Field Trip\, 
 thanks! The donation may be made on the day of the Field Trip. Plan to 
 bring cash for purchasing food at the Festival or bring a sack lunch. 
 Drinks and snacks provided for the bus ride.\n\nThe Wood River Museum of 
 History   Culture is located at 580 Fourth Street East\, Suite 130\, in
