SUMMARY:History Half Hour at the Museum
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a quick dive into local history\, led by Kristine
Bretall\, The Community Library's Wood River Museum Community Engagement
Manager. For February to celebrate the 24th Winter Olympic Games\, we'll
dive into Sun Valley's ties to the Winter Olympics. Not only have we had
over 70 athletes with Sun Valley ties compete in the Winter Olympics\, with
the one exception of 1924\, Sun Valley has had at least one local athlete
in every Winter Olympics. Come learn about early athletes and what has made
Sun Valley such a hub for Winter Olympians.\n\nThe History Half Hours
happen on three consecutive Thursdays in February at the Wood River Museum.
The topic is the same each week\, so join on any one of the Thursdays. Meet
inside the Museum at noon.\n\nNo registration required.
