Constellation Craft Activity In-Person
Kids will make create a black "constellation" box using construction paper and poking holes for stars that light up!
The session is led by astronomer Catherine Slaughter, who is the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve’s inaugural Astronomer in Residence at Boise State University.
Catherine will also be on the Donaldson Robb Family Lawn at noon on Wednesday, July 6, to share her telescope for all ages to observe our solar system. A special solar system craft for ages 5 and up will follow. More info about the Solar Observation/Craft event here.
Children under 9 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
