Audacious Read Book Group: DON QUIXOTE
This momentous 400-year-old Spanish novel is hailed as the world’s first modern novel and one of the most influential stories in the history of western literature. We will delve into it about five chapters at a time over the course of the year, beginning February 1, following Don Quixote and Sancho Panza on their quest through the landscape of Spain, tilting at windmills together. The 2003 edition translated by Edith Grossman (Ecco/HarperCollins Publishers) is recommended.
First Tuesday of each month beginning on Tuesday, February 1, 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Zoom.
