Building Bridges: "So You Want to Talk About Race" Community Read Kickoff

Building Bridges: "So You Want to Talk About Race" Community Read Kickoff In-Person

Blaine County Amnesty International invites you to a community-wide book read of Ijeoma Oluo's So You Want to Talk About Race.

Join us for this kickoff event where we'll be handing out 100 copies of Oluo's book, providing snacks, and sharing details for upcoming community discussions. Discussions will be held every other week, from early February through May, and will alternate between The Community Library in Ketchum and the Hailey Public Library. Each discussion will focus on a different chapter of the book, and Wood River High School students will lead each discussion. All members of the community interested in BUILDING BRIDGES and forming stronger relationships within our community and across ages and experience are invited to join.

The first discussion date will be announced during this kickoff event on January 21.

*Proof of Vaccination and a Mask are required to attend this event.*

This kickoff event will also be live streamed. Watch here on Vimeo.

The Building Bridges community read has been generously sponsored by the Youth Generosity Project.
