SUMMARY:Star Lab Planetarium with Scott Slonim
DESCRIPTION:Explore the night sky in this amazing portable 
 planetarium.\n\nBring the whole family and join Scott Slonim\, Hemingway 
 STEAM School engineering design teacher\, as he takes you on a unique tour 
 of the stars. You’ll learn to identify a variety of constellations\, 
 including Native American and Greek constellations\, and you’ll learn 
 some of the stories behind them. You’ll also learn about the phases of 
 the moon and get to touch a real shooting star. The event will end with a 
 laser show!\n\nChildren should be accompanied by an adult. A special thank 
 you to the Wood River Women's Foundation for their generous grant which 
 allowed the school to purchase this amazing planetarium. \n\nSpace is 
 limited. Registration is required for this event. You may register multiple 
 people on a single registration. You may call the Children's Library desk 
 at 208-726-3493 x 3 with questions or help with registration. Please note: 
 the Star Lab is accessed by crawling on hands and knees through a small 
 tunnel.
