Memoir Writing: Sharing Your Authentic Story In-Person
Join us for a memoir-writing workshop with Writer-In-Residence at the Hemingway House, Alejandra Campoverdi.
In her national bestselling book, First Gen, Alejandra explores themes of belonging, inheritance, and identify. She writes "I'd absorbed the lesson that revealing something vulnerable to others could lead to a sort of mutual alchemy."
In this intimate workshop, Alejandra leads participants in an exploration and discussion of the process of writing a memoir that is authentic yet connective to readers of all backgrounds. The workshop will include a writing prompt and optional sharing.
Space is limited. Registration required.
Campoverdi will also be in conversation about her memoir, First Gen, on Monday, August 11. Learn more here.
