Skidmore Project Art - Day 1

Skidmore Project Art - Day 1 In-Person

Kids 7 and up, can join Stephen Bruce, a visual artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, in a TWO DAY art project through his Skidmore Project!!

Stephen has taught thousands of students in the Bay Area the importance of S.T.E.A.M. (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) with a focus on Art, Science, and creativity. Students will have the opportunity to create art with an unusual process of manipulating Oxidation with the use of household food items. The kids will also learn about experimentation and recording data as they explore key principles of oxidation on metals, particularly copper and copper alloys. The underlying lesson is focused on Individual Creativity!

This is a TWO DAY COMMITMENT, and kids MUST sign up for both 8/6 AND 8/12 from 2:00 pm-3:00pm each day.

This program is brought to us by Stephen Bruce, and the Skidmore Project. You can find more information here https://skidmore-project.constantcontactsites.com/
