Churchill and de Gaulle: Titans at War

Churchill and de Gaulle: Titans at War In-Person

Winston Churchill and Charles de Gaulle were iconic figures of 20th century history. Each embodied the greatness of his nation and together they fought to rid Europe of the scourge of fascism during the Second World War.

But they often disagreed and sometimes fought viciously - perhaps because they were both very similar and strikingly different. The issues they confronted, and the challenges they faced shaped the world we still live in today.

Join acclaimed historian and popular Community Library presenters Lee Pollock, Director and Senior Advisor to the Board of The International Churchill Society, and Marc Onetto, a Frenchman and history buff French based in Seattle and Sun Valley, as they tell the fascinating story of two great men, Churchill and de Gaulle.
