Workshop: Prose Poetry and The Power of Place

Workshop: Prose Poetry and The Power of Place In-Person

Prose Poetry and The Power of Place, led by Erin Rose. This workshop is part of the 2025 To Taste Life Twice seminar.

This workshop will explore the power of grounding your work in place, not just as a setting or backdrop, but as the actual firestarter for storytelling. Led by writer Erin Rose Belair, on the heels of her collection The Blue Years, we will explore how to create powerful prose poetry that grounds and electrifies your reader, whether you are writing from your window at home or gazing out a train in Thailand. These tools and tricks have staying power and will be used throughout your writing life.
