Preparing for an Unexpected Illness or End-of-Life

Preparing for an Unexpected Illness or End-of-Life In-Person

If something were to happen to you, do you have a set of Advance Directives, a Living Will, a Last Will and Testament or after-death plans for your body? Do you have the essential documents prepared, notarized and shared with your support team including loved ones and health care providers? And, most importantly, have you shared your end-of-life wishes with those closest to you so they know what to do?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, please join Wendy Norman, Founder of Worry-Free Wednesdays, as she lays out a few easy steps every adult can take to be prepared for a health care crisis or an unexpected death. Prior to the event, you can visit Worry-Free Wednesdays to learn more about their education organization. While Worry-Free Wednesdays is a Washington State-based organization, all content and resources shared during this presentation will be tailored to Idaho residents. Additionally, many of the resources on their website are not state specific.

Space is limited; registration required. This workshop-style program is in-person only.

Wendy will also be offering free one-on-one End of Life Consulting on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 4. Registration is required. Click here to learn more about this second opportunity with Worry Free Wednesdays.

Wendy Norman is the Founder of Worry-Free Wednesdays, an end-of-life planning organization.  She has been researching and engaging with end-of-life issues for over 15 years. Her interest in the field was sparked in 2006 when her mother was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's. This experience underscored the critical importance of having a plan in place before illness occurs, particularly when cognitive decline is a factor. Driven by a desire to help others recognize the value of pre-planning, Wendy became an end-of-life planning consultant in 2017. In 2019, she made the decision to leave her 25-year career in technology marketing and program management to dedicate her time and energy to end-of-life planning, education, and awareness.  This is when she created Worry-Free Wednesdays to provide an online and in-person resource to help people easily access the help they need.  Wendy resides in Seattle, WA and Ketchum, Idaho.
