Footlight Dance: Literacy/Creativity; Off-site: WRHS Community Campus, Hailey In-Person
Footlight Dance presents: "Literacy/Creativity" a free community dance performance. The Community Library's Children's Librarians have worked with Footlight Dance to spotlight literacy through children's books that they have set to dance. Footlight Dance will be taking their performanes to area schools in January and early February.
A free, public performance will be held on Thursday, January 30th at 7:00 pm at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theatre at the Community Campus in Hailey, Idaho. We invite our Community Library patrons to attend.
The performance will feature:
Modern Dance: It Fell From the Sky by Terry Fan and Eric Fan (the Fan brothers)
Ballet: Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown
Tap Dance: Spy School by Stuart Gibbs
Hip Hop: Excuse Me As I Kiss the Sky (Poetry) by Rudy Francisco
Jazz Dance: Fancy Nancy by Jane O’Connor
