Virtual Creative Writing Workshop Online
Join us every other Wednesday, January 15 through December 17, 2025, for a virtual writing workshop, led by Martha Williams, the Library’s programs and education director.
Each workshop begins with a warm-up prompt, then moves into 1-2 prompts that we will work with for the remainder of the hour. These free-form writing exercises are designed for writers of all genres–poetry, fiction, short fiction, nonfiction, and memoir. After each exercise we’ll share, discuss, and give each other feedback. Writers may also have an opportunity to share work created outside of the workshop and receive feedback.
This virtual group meets over Zoom. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Please note that registering once will register you for the entire year, and you'll receive a reminder each week with the meeting link.
