Miracle of the Mind: The Brain-Body Connection

Miracle of the Mind: The Brain-Body Connection In-Person

Join us for a talk by Patrick Abel, PA-C, who will speak about mental health and its effects on cognition and physical health.

Patrick Abel grew up in Ogden, Utah. He attended Gonzaga University where he received a BS in Biology, and has since become a PA through Idaho State University. He currently works for Dr. Zach Morairty at ZXM Psychiatry in Twin Falls.

Inspired by his time working in wilderness therapy, Pat has extensive experience working with teens. He also works with adults with a variety of diagnoses, including bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, schizophrenia, dementia, and addictions. In his practice, he does medication management, CBT/DBT counseling, and ketamine assisted therapy.

Pat grew up spending much of his time outdoors with his family, both in Utah and Idaho. They have been on countless river trips and Pat worked as a river guide in Stanley for five summers prior to becoming a PA, where he fell in love with Idaho. He also enjoys backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and backcountry skiing. He lives in Hailey with his fiance and new pup, Zuko.

This program will be livestreamed and available to watch later. Click here to watch online.
