Hidden Crisis: Early Childhood Learning and Local Childcare In-Person
Part 2 in the Spur Community Foundation's It's In Our Nature Event Series
Join us for a panel discussion on the growing issues of limited childcare options and early childhood learning of the Wood River Valley. Whether you are a busy parent, juggling schedules, a business owner noticing staffing challenges, or an empty nester who is invested in the well-being of your community, this is a topic that impacts everyone.
Panelists: Janet Salvoni, Sun Valley Community School; Dr. Robert Sanchez, Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children; Kathryn Ivers, Wood River Early Learning Collaborative; Stephanie Wallace, Hailey Elementary Principal; and Brittany Skelton, local working parent.
Together we will dive into the current condition of childcare and early childhood learning, take a look at its long-term economic and social consequences, and discuss possible solutions for a more viable future. In partnership with the Spur Community Foundation.
