Thomas J. Lynch Jr., MD
President and Director and Raisbeck Endowed Chair 
Dr. Lynch is a world-renowned scientist with expertise in solid tumor research, precision medicine, and fundamental biology. He is also a respected oncologist who has led top U.S. cancer centers for more than three decades. Dr. Lynch is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.

Bruce Clurman, MD, PhD
Executive Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer and Deputy Director, and Rosput Reynolds Endowed Chair
Over three decades at Fred Hutch, Dr. Clurman has been a renowned laboratory scientist and international leader in understanding cell division and protein degradation pathways in cancer development and treatment. He is also a medical oncologist specializing in bone marrow transplantation. As chief scientific officer and deputy director, Dr. Clurman has major roles in developing and executing Fred Hutch’s research strategy. He is a member of the Association of American Physicians, the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the American Association for Cancer Research, and the American Society of Hematology.

Sara Hurvitz, MD
Senior Vice President and Director of the Clinical Research Division
Dr. Hurvitz is a medical oncologist, international expert in breast oncology, and leader in clinical and laboratory-based cancer research. She joined Fred Hutch from UCLA in 2023, bringing her extensive experience leading clinical trials. She is currently focused on expanding the clinical research programs for oncology and hematology. Dr. Hurvitz is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, the European Society of Medical Oncology, and the American College of Physicians.
