Mythbusting Immigration Panel Discussion

Mythbusting Immigration Panel Discussion In-Person

Join The Community Library, The Alliance of Idaho, and The Hunger Coalition for a presentation and panel discussion that confronts the myths and facts about immigrants in the United States and in Blaine County.

Luis Campos, legal director for The Alliance, will provide a short presentation debunking several common myths about immigrants and immigration, then we’ll hear from a panel of local non-profits, business leaders, and law enforcement about how and where these myths arise in our community.

Campos will be joined for a panel discussion with Steve England, Hailey Police Chief, Rick Naerebout, Chief Executive Officer of the Idaho Dairyman's Association, Becky Lopez, Executive Director of The Alliance of Idaho, and Naomi Spence, Co-Executive Director of The Hunger Coalition.

The panel will take written questions from the audience. If you have a question that you'd like to submit ahead of the event, please email it to Martha Williams, the library's director of programs and education, who will be moderating the panel.

This program will be livestreamed and available to view later. Click here to watch online.
