Join the Wood River Museum of History and Culture, in partnership with the Sun Valley Film Festival, for a dynamic journey into the world of short-form filmmaking. Participants will learn the basics of the entire filmmaking process, from brainstorming impactful narratives to scripting and practical filming using accessible resources like smartphone cameras. This hands-on session delves into the essentials of concise storytelling. Our instructors will cover everything from editing to sound design, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of bringing stories to life on screen. Join us for a day of creativity, collaboration, and practical insights, and elevate your ability to tell compelling stories through the lens of short films. Open to high school and middle school aged individuals only.
