A Life in Recovery with Ben Seymour In-Person

Men’s Second Chance Living will share this message of hope to present “A Life in Recovery,” a talk by Benjamin Seymour. Seymour is an adjunct professor at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine in Meridian and specializes in working with impaired physicians, executives, nurses, attorneys and other professionals.

With over 23-years of experience in behavioral healthcare, Benjamin Seymour is a nationally recognized interventionist, consultant, counselor, author, and public speaker. He has served as the founder and CEO of several healthcare companies in the U.S. and is well versed in working with healthcare organizations in a consultative capacity.

Benjamin is the President of Southworth International.. He currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the State of Idaho’s Physicians Health Program, Program for Recovering Nurses, Pharmacists Recovery Network, and the Idaho State Bar’s Lawyers Assistance Program.

He is also a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, Certified Intervention Professional and a Certified Trauma Professional, and he is a founding member of the Idaho Neuroscience of Addiction Coalition and oversees the successful International Treatment Center Cooperative (ITCC) events, hosted by Southworth Associates.

Presented in collaboration with Men's Second Chance Living, a Hailey-based non-profit that provides an all-male, supportive, sober living environment for individuals who want to maintain a clean and sober lifestyle and advance on their path to a new and better life.

National Recovery Month (Recovery Month) is a national observance held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.
